DEFINITIONS

“Seller” means Ledridge Lighting, Unit 6, 19 Highcliffe Road, Hamilton, Leicester, LE5 1TY.

“Buyer” means the person who accepts the quotation for the sale of the Goods or whose order for the Goods is accepted by the Seller.

“Goods” means the goods (including any instalment of the goods or any parts for them) which the Seller is to supply in accordance with Ledridge Lighting Terms & Conditions.

“Contract” means the contract for the purchase and sale of the Goods.

1. RETURNS

1.1 Goods will not be accepted back for credit unless prior written approval has been obtained from the Seller.

1.2 A 50% handling charge will be levied on all fault-free Goods returned at the Buyer’s request. Any such Goods should be returned carriage paid, must be in a resalable condition and must be in the current original packaging. Bespoke items are non-returnable. The return of all unwanted/fault-free Goods must be authorised in writing by the Seller.

1.3 The Seller will arrange collection of Goods reported as faulty. All faulty Goods will undergo testing and a full credit note will be issued if the Goods are found to be faulty.

1.4 Excluding goods returned under Clause 1.2, the Seller reserves the right to return any Goods returned for credit for reasons of fault where no actual fault has been found with the Goods. In such cases a credit note will not be passed and the items returned to the Buyer. The Seller will be entitled to levy a handling charge and seek full reimbursement of any carriage or associated costs incurred in returning the Goods to the Buyer.

1.5 If Goods are returned without the authorisation by the Seller in writing, the reimbursement of any carriage charges, if appropriate, will be limited to the amount that the Seller would have incurred had the Seller been given the opportunity to arrange their own collection.
